1. Information We Access

To provide our service, the Add Row Button extension requires access to:

Google Sheets: We access your Google Sheets through the Google Sheets API to add rows as requested by you.
OAuth Authentication: We use Google OAuth to authenticate your identity and obtain permission to modify your spreadsheets.

2. How We Use Your Information

The extension uses your Google Sheets access solely to perform the actions you request:

Adding rows to your spreadsheets
Reading basic spreadsheet information (sheet names, IDs) to function properly

We do not:

Store your spreadsheet data on our servers
Read or access the content of your spreadsheets beyond what's necessary to add rows
Share your data with third parties
Sell or monetize your information

3. Data Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage to save:

Your OAuth authentication token (stored securely by Chrome)
Extension preferences and settings

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this information.

4. Analytics

We collect anonymous usage analytics using Umami to help improve the extension. This includes:

Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., how often the extension is used)
Browser and extension version information
Anonymous error reports to fix bugs

Umami is a privacy-focused analytics platform that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No IP addresses or personal data are stored.

5. Third-Party Services

This extension interacts with the following third-party services:

Google Sheets API: To modify your spreadsheets. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google OAuth: To authenticate your account. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Chrome Web Store: For extension distribution. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Permissions Explanation

The extension requires the following Chrome permissions:

identity: To authenticate with Google OAuth
storage: To save your preferences locally
activeTab: To interact with Google Sheets tabs

7. Data Security

We take security seriously. Your OAuth tokens are handled securely by Chrome's identity API and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not have access to your passwords.

8. Your Rights

Revoke the extension's access to your Google Sheets at any time through your Google Account settings
Uninstall the extension, which will remove all locally stored data

This extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
